The past few weeks have been busy times for the #1 Ladies Website Agency. No sooner had we settled into our new surroundings in Vence that, unbeknown to us, a new adventure awaited us just around the corner - from Chateauneuf-de-Grasse that is.
I had always believed that, for the business to be taken seriously and attain "street cred" so to speak, it needed a proper business environment. Working from home was no longer an option. I also believed (wrongly as it turned out), that "foot fall" through the door would be a great way to acquire clients. More importantly, while I envisaged the business to grow with the addition of extra staff, I only saw this happening after a couple of years.
Fate had different ideas . . .
Just prior to the official opening of the #1 Ladies Website Agency, I was approached with the opportunity to have a trainee Graphic Communicator and Website Designer on board while she completed her Graphics and Multimedia course in Cannes. This was indeed exciting news but it suddenly turned everything on its head. As I sat in the shop in Vence mulling over the effects this could have on the business I realized that my head, rather than my heart, had to make the ultimate decision.
