THE ENGLISH BOOK CENTRE
Client Project : Creation of a new website with just a 'holding' page.
Cost : €350
After taking over the English Book Centre in Valbonne in July 2009, Lin Wolff asked me to create a new website starting with a stand-alone home page which could evolve as the bookshop did. While a little uncertain about this site's total content, she did know she wanted to include a line drawing on the home page. Based on this and her wish to have the colour mustard, I designed something very simple and uncluttered, that made the most of the beautiful drawing and would be an excellent springboard from which to create her future website.
Client Project (2) : Creation of six additional website pages.
Cost : €1,500
By the end of 2009, the site further developed with the addition of six new pages to cater for the different sections Lin Wolff wished to develop for the book centre.
We have since set up a monthly retainer agreement that covers two hours of my time (minor text/image amendments are free) plus back-ups, site-management, domain hosting and renewal, Google analytic reports and SEO.
