My involvement with the creation of this site came through the intervention of Liz Lord of Spacebetween (a walking and adventure holiday business in the Mercantour National Park).

A friend of hers, Leslie Frasier, had a very primitive website for her non-profit association. Leslie was desparate to have a brand new website where she could show all the cats/kittens needing adoption or sponsoring, ask for donations, post a blog and give pertinent administrative and legislative information.

Sadly however, funds where at an all time low. What little money she did have, went immediately on looking after and feeding all the cats so Liz wondered if there was anything I could do to help. As it happened, it was the "Season Of Goodwill" and so I offered my services to Leslie free-of-charge. It must be said both Nigel and I love cats (having quite a tribe ourselves) and admired Leslie's hard work and determination.

Once the overall design of the site was completed, development continued with the inclusion of a blog, a donation button, and a number of photo albums. The site was also translated into French. Leslie also wanted to be able to update her site herself so we set up a couple of training days to teach her how to do this.
